Solar thermal

Solar thermal energy is one that uses heat directly from the sun. To discuss solar energy have to differentiate passive systems assets. Active systems are characterized by the separation between the space occupied by the collector and the space in which the energy produced by these systems.

Passive systems however, are not subject to transport energy to solar collector is part of the purpose of the system itself, in this group are, for example, solar architecture and solar cookers.

Also differs depending on whether solar energy transforms solar energy into electrical energy (solar thermal) or else used directly (thermal energy). Solar thermal energy can be used directly by the clothes or wipe can also be converted into electricity and turn on a computer, a stereo or a dryer. If we use directly the yield will be higher but we make sure that the power is sufficient to develop the task quickly, so there are ways to turn it into electricity.

Solar thermal energy is transformed into electrical energy by cogeneration is a mechanism specifically as solar thermal. The small-scale solar thermal energy has no place in either the energy savings for culinary uses for hot water or for other useful applications directly, without transforming it into electricity. In this sense also have dedicated many efforts to create models of solar cookers, solar water heaters or other practical uses . The architecture uses solar energy solar thermal stabilizer in a cabin without an increase in gross energy consumption.
